Singapore Hepatitis Conference Pte Ltd (“SHC”) and Gastroenterological Society of Singapore (“GESS”) organised the Combined GIHep and Singapore Hepatology Conference (“Combined Conference”) together. We may organise other events together in the future.

SHC have and will continue to share Your Personal Data disclosed when You register on the Singapore Hepatology Conference website with it’s 3rd party service providers and GESS as needed.

As such, references to “We”, “Us” “Our” in this Privacy Policy will apply to SHC, GESS and GIHep.

This Privacy Policy applies to the www.shc-sg.com website, the GIHep website and its connected portals which host Our databases (collectively, the “Websites”) and governs data collection, processing and usage in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”). By using the Websites, You consent to the data practices described in this statement. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in Our Terms of Service.

1. To enable the Registrant to access videos and e-Resources hosted on Our Websites;
2. To enable the Registrant to attend Conferences organised by SHC or GESS in person or virtually;

4. To gather customer feedback;
5. To inform or update You of other products or services available from Us and Our affiliates, where You have consented to be contacted for such purposes;
6. To monitor, improve and administer the Websites and Services; and
7. To update You on changes to the Websites and Services.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or release Your Personal Information to third parties. SHC may, from time to time, contact You on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering or service that may be of interest to You. In those cases, Your unique Personal Information is not transferred to the third party without Your explicit consent.

In addition, We may share data with trusted partners to help Us perform statistical analysis or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using Your personal information except to provide Our Services to You, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of Your Personal Information.

3. Act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of attendees of Combined Conference whether in person or virtually or users of SHC’s videos and other e-Resources or the general public.

SHC may disclose Your personal information to third parties if: (a) We sell the SHC business or assets, in which case SHC may disclose Your personal data to the buyer of such business or assets; and (b) SHC or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by SHC about SHC’s customers will be one of the transferred assets.
